Japanese ramen noodle soup

A warm bowl of delicious soup.

The perfect blend of flavours; a rich-flavoured broth complimented by ramen noodles and a selection of veggies and meats. You can customise these however you like, but below you can find our recommended combination.

Prepare the miso soup by using either miso soup sachet OR some miso sesame ramen base OR shiro miso paste, following the package instructions.

In a saucepan bring water to the boil, and then lower to a simmer. Add one nest of ramen noodles per person, and simmer for 2 mins, before removing from the pan.

In a pan, sauce vegetables in oil until soft, roughly 4-5 minutes.

Add the drained ramen noodles into the pan, mixing to combine.

Assemble the bowl by adding the noodle mixture in first, and then covering those with the soup. Finally, add your toppings; we’d recommend boiled eggs, tofu, chillies and any vegetables that you like!
